This is an experimental project on rebranding Microsoft Surfacae which is a branch of Microsoft. Once we talking about Hong Kong, the first thing that comes into my mind is the night view of this place. Neon sign is one of the most representitive elements of Hong Kong. Moreover, I think the neon light would fulfill the high-technology theme from Microsoft.
It has been discovered that the Cyberpunk subgenre of science fiction aligns well with their design concept. Cyberpunk typically takes place in a dystopian futuristic setting, with a focus on a "combination of low-life and high tech". This theme can be observed in Hong Kong, particularly in the Kowloon Walled City, where the contrast between advanced technology and dilapidated residential areas is evident in the skyscrapers, roadside shops, and neon signs.
